C.L. Ingalls began bookbinding after introduction to the field through letterpress printing. Soon, Fine Binding budded into a passion. Several years have followed studying in the French technique with various teachers—notably Eleanor Ramsey, Edwin Heim, Tini Miura and Monique Lallier. A 'Diploma in Fine Binding' was received from the American Academy of Bookbinding in 2007. Currently, C.L. Ingalls runs Eidolon Press in the quiet hamlet of Crested Butte, Colorado.
